Iran is being bombarded by Israel and the U.S. In retaliation, Iran is striking Israel and the Gulf monarchies, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Bahrein, Qatar. South Lebanon and Beirut are being bombed by Israel… By launching a war against Iran, Trump and Netanyahu have set fire to the whole region.

The U.S. and Israel have unleashed a new war with untold consequences. There have already been several hundred deaths in Iran, including more than a hundred young girls killed when their school was blown up. And how many Israelis will die as victims of this policy?

We have seen the Israeli and U.S. governments at work in the Gaza strip. The Israeli army has relentlessly massacred and destroyed for almost two years, killing 70,000 men, women and children. They are firebrands and murderers!

Many Iranians were delighted at the death of their tormentors, particularly that of Ali Khamenei, killed right at the beginning of the war. We can understand their reaction but those who present this war as the means of liberating the population from a hated regime are liars.

The ones bombing peoples are never liberators. The U.S. weren’t liberators in Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria. The French army weren’t liberators in Libya or Mali. Their goal has never been to defend peoples but to make them submit to their interests by means of weapons.

The U.S. wants to have a regime that does their bidding in Iran. As they do in Cuba, Venezuela, Latin America, Greenland. As they wanted in Ukraine; which brought about the war with Russia.

There’s nothing preventive about this war. It’s another step on the road to world war. And our leaders are contributing, on their own scale, to the machinations of that war. Macron, along with Merz and Starmer, has offered his services to Trump and Netenyahu for “defensive action” against Iran. As if the Iranians started this war!

For now, China is keeping its distance from the battles that American imperialism is fighting so that it can remain master of the world. But the U.S. has China in its sights. And China will get involved at some point.

However long humanity remains governed by gangs of thieves and criminals, ready to do anything to serve the extremely wealthy, war will be our one and only future. This is madness and a terrible waste of human life.

Humanity is rushing into its own destruction at the very time when it has reached an extraordinary level of development. This is the year 2026. There has never been so much wealth to share. We have never before had the same technical means and possibilities available to answer our needs. Accumulated knowledge and progress allow peoples to communicate and cooperate beyond borders, seas and oceans. But it’s just war upon war, destruction upon destruction, corpses upon corpses!

We are being rushed into widespread war because, in every country, leaders are blinded by the senseless accumulation of wealth and the pursuit of profit. It’s forever about defending the specific interests of vultures who have done nothing but exploit and trample on workers!

We’ve seen war coming for months, if not years. Every country is rearming as fast as it can. The arsenal being built has reached an unprecedented level of power and sophistication in the art of killing. Warmongering propaganda, nationalism and the militarization of society is leaping ahead everywhere. And we know that workers will be the first to pay the price for this war because it’s always their children who are sent to the front.

We feel powerless to prevent it. That’s a tragedy because the working class is in fact the only force that has the means to bar the way. In the time that it takes the working class to rise, become aware of its importance in society and render the exploiting class and warmongers harmless, how many more deaths will there be to mourn?

It’s a matter of urgency to strive for the organization of workers against a capitalist class that is endangering the whole of humanity and that no longer deserves to run society. The workers must take their future into their own hands and run society themselves. The sooner the better!
